Fresh Watermelon Mint Lemonade
Watermelon mint lemonade is perfect for a hot summer day and is as amazing as it sounds! This summer my family and I took the plunge and planted a vegetable and herb garden. It’s been paying off immensely! The mint came straight out of our herb garden and the watermelon came from the grocery store (haha). Our home grown watermelon isn’t quite ready yet. - 1 liter ice cold water
- juice of 3-5 lemons
- honey 1-2 tsp or to taste
- 4 cups of watermelon
- fresh mint
Blend water, juice of lemons, honey, watermelon and fresh mint together. You may have to do this in a few batches depending on the size of your blender. I used my Nutribullet. Feel free to add or omit measurements of honey or lemon juice depending on what your family likes!
Enjoy! Try pairing this with my summer loaded nachos recipe for a party!
